Louise E. Carman, 83, of Walton, passed away peacefully on Oct. 4, 2024, at Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born on September 22, 1941, a compassionate soul known for her love of playing mahjong and her dedication to working at the Mustard Seed at the United Presbyterian Church. Her warm heart and kind spirit touched the lives of many in her community.

Louise was born in Jamaica, NY to Ernest Lipfert and Bernadine Lipfert. Louise married Theodore Carman of Jamaica, NY on December 21, 1963, in Wantagh, Long Island.

Lousie is survived by her loving husband Theodore, her daughter Jennifer (John) Martello of Holbrook, and her son Theodore (Susan) Carman of Blue Point, her 4 grandchildren: Alexandria, Hannah Beth, Hailee, and Nicholas. She is survived by her brother Richard Lipfert and her sister Etta-Ann Lipfert.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Bernadine Lipfert and her brother Edward Lipfert.

Services for Louise will be held Oct. 26, 2024 at 3 p.m. at the United Presbyterian Church, located at 58 East Street, Walton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to United Presbyterian Church, 58 East St, Walton, NY 13856 in Louise’s memory. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and warmth she shared with those around her.
